Buying a Desert Eagle Gun
The Desert Eagle is one the most popular types of semi-automatic pistols in the world. This gun is distributed by Magnum Research Inc. who designed this handgun in 1983. However, this gun is being manufactured by the Israel Weapons Industry. Since its inception, it quickly became a very popular type of pistol with features that cannot be found in other pistols. Although it has evolved into different forms, it is still a highly demanded type of pistol everywhere.
From Rifle to Pistol
The Desert Eagle was originally designed to be a rifle but it was eventually made into a pistol with most of its properties for being a rifle still intact. The fact that it is supposed to be a rifle has contributed greatly to the success of the Desert Eagle. Although it has clear advantages, there are distinct shortcomings of a Desert Eagle which means there are certain individuals that might not be able to handle the Desert Eagle. These shortcomings of course, are from the fact that it was originally made into a rifle.
Advantages of Desert Eagles
• Power – the Desert Eagle is undoubtedly one of the most powerful pistols in the world. This type of gun is basically a simple rifle but with a stoppage power of a rifle. It could still use standard bullets of a rifle and work with it with deadly accuracy.
• Less Recoil – the Desert Eagle is a gas powered pistol which is very rare in the industry. The Desert Eagle could be easily handled by anyone since it has less recoil. The gas or the heat that should be pushed out and create a recoil is controlled so that the air will come out not to block the shooter but will maintain balance.
• High Accuracy – the Desert Eagle is also well known for its deadly accuracy. Since it is gas powered, it can easily push out the bullets at high speed while maintaining vision.
Disadvantages of Desert Eagle
• Price – Desert Eagle is a well recognized brand for pistols and because of this, the company could easily add the price and still expect customers all over the world. But aside from the name, the Desert Eagle is also expensive to maintain since it will require jacketed lead bullets to prevent the bullet from misfiring inside the gun. This type of bullet is a little bit expensive because of its safety features.
• Bulky – compared to other handguns in town, the Desert Eagle could easily be ranked as part of the biggest pistols. The rifle-like feature of the Desert Eagle is still there and could pack a powerful stopping power. But all that power can’t just be squeezed inside a regular sized pistol. Desert Eagle is a large pistol and could not be easily concealed.
• Difficulty in Handling – although the desert eagle has less recoil, handing will still require time since the Desert Eagle is a little bit larger in the handle.
If you’re looking for an intimidating gun that could actually have strong stoppage power, consider the Desert Eagle. It’s a little bit pricey but will provide the protection you need.
